Alzheimer’s disease is often discussed in terms of memory loss. But its deeper impact can be on identity, motivation, independence and connection.
To mark World Alzheimer’s Day, Threestones Foundation spoke with Professor Philippe Robert, an internationally recognised expert in Alzheimer’s disease and related neurocognitive disorders, Professor of Psychiatry at Université Côte d’Azur and Director of the Memory Resources and Research Centre at Nice University Hospital.
The conversation looks beyond diagnosis and treatment to questions at the heart of healthy ageing: how we protect cognitive health, preserve autonomy and dignity, use technology wisely, and help people live better for longer.
